About

The MIT Supply Chain Strategy Lab (SCS Lab) focused on researching questions about supply chain strategy, its content and process - both in theory and in practice - within and across organizations. Part of the Center for Transportation and Logistics (CTL) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the SCS Lab was created in 2016 as a continuation of an earlier CTL initiative launched by Prof Yossi Sheffi in 2004, called the Supply Chain 2020 Project (SC2020). The SCS Lab's founder and director, Dr Roberto Perez-Franco, relocated to Australia in March 2017 after spending almost 12 years at MIT. He continues this work at Deakin University, in Melbourne, under the Supply Chain Strategy Lab at the Centre for Supply Chain and Logistics. This website remains as a way to share past and new material on that work.
